KEEP THEM CLEAN:
Wash your feet more often and arduously than you’re used to, with anti–bacterial soap.
USE A SHOE TREE:
Yes, because an unvarnished cedar shoe tree (See: Woodlore Adjustable Shoe Tree) , properly inserted, will absorb perspiration, help prevent bacterial growth, and deodorize shoes.
USE AN ANTIPERSPIRANT:
A foot antiperspirant like Gold Bond Foot Spray or Certain Dri Moisture Control Pads can help fight sweat and bacteria.
LOAFER SOCKS:
Ok, I get it you want a much easier option! Why not try a pair of loafer socks (i.e. “no-show” socks)? They absorb the perspiration, and no one sees them. There you go!

Definitely use some sort of Gold Bond spray to control the wetness. Don’t forget the top portion of the foot also. I mention this because I had worn a pair of tan colored shoes, like to one pictured, developed sweat stains on top of the shoe where a portion of the leather flexes into a crease. If it is too humid outside and I know I will be walking a lot, I now wear the no-shows now.
Good stuff! Thanks Calvin!
