Black Pepper & Mint as fragrances in a shaving cream? What an interesting combination!
Well, the Gentry Grooming Co.’s – The Shave Cream contains just that and it makes for a fun shave. When used as described, without a brush, it produced great lather that coats the skin with a nice subtle tingle that lingers without being annoying. Even when used with a brush, it yields enough lather to cover the face sufficiently. Overall, I must say it provided me with a close and comfortable shave without my usual pre-shave oil routine (*make sure to not eliminate this vital step; I only do so when testing a product to assess the product’s effectiveness using multiple techniques). A new shave cream on the market via Great Britain… Not bad at all!
