Calvin Klein’s long awaited cologne, aptly named Encounter, hit the scene with an impressive video ad campaign featuring actor Alexander Skarsgard, best known as Eric on the TV series “True Blood”.
It’s a seemingly softer “woodsy” cologne that has a collection of notes stemming from Mandarin Cardamum, Egyptian Jasmine, Patchouli, and Cognac to name a few. Overall, the fragrance fits nicely into the category of a Fall/Winter evening cologne. And although it didn’t necessarily quite do the job in amazing me, I have received several compliments on the multiple occasions I’ve worn it during the “product test-period”. So in that regard, it certainly amazed a few!
